ในวันที่ 7 ก.ค. 2563 ที่ผ่านมา คนในโลกออนไลน์ต่างพากันติดแฮชแท็ก #สมรสเท่าเทียม ในทวิตเตอร์ เพื่อให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการผลักดัน ร่างพระราชบัญญัติแก้ไขเพิ่มเติมประมวลกฎหมายแพ่งและพาณิชย์ ซึ่งว่าด้วยการให้บุคคลธรรมดาทั้งเพศเดียวกันและต่างเพศ สามารถทำการหมั้นและสมรสกันได้อย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย ซึ่งก็มีคนออกมาแสดงความคิดเห็นและร่วมรณรงค์ให้ข้อกฎหมายดังกล่าวผ่านร่างกันเป็นจำนวนมาก จนแฮชแท็กดังกล่าวติดเทรนด์ประเทศไทย
ไม่เพียงแต่คนทั่วไปที่ออกมาเคลื่อนไหวกับเรื่อง #สมรสเท่าเทียม แต่ยังรวมไปถึงดารา ศิลปิน คนดังในวงการบันเทิง ทั้งเบื้องหน้าและเบื้องหลังด้วย ที่ทั้งออกมาทวีตและรีทวีตข้อความที่มีการพูดถึง #สมรสเท่าเทียม แปลน - รัฐวิทย์ ก็เป็นหนึ่งคนที่ออกมาเคลื่อนไหวในเรื่องนี้
[ July 7, 2020, There is the social movement in Thailand about #MarriageEquality on Twitter to push forward the draft of Acts to edit the Civil and Commercial Code about all gender; both same-sex and opposite-sex can be engaged and married legally. So, Many people shared their opinions and shouted out to support this draft to be real. That makes the hashtags reached the top trending on Thailand.
Not only general public but actors/actresses, singers and people in entertainment industry also tweeted and retweeted about #MarriageEquality, including Plan-Rathavit too.]
